Fashion Friday

My favorite outfit in the summer consists of nothing more than flip flops, shorts, and a tank. I am lazy in the summer. I don't put on make up, I never do my hair. Some days all I do is nap. And forget showering. (Well...forget showering, anyway. I hate getting wet.)

Summer is my happy place.<.

It doesn't last forever. (well, sometimes the hot weather does in SoCal, but you know what I mean.)

Which is why, when thinking about what style to post today, I flipped through the pictures on my camera and found inspiration.

It wasn't from my sister, who is equally obsessive about clothes as I am--maybe more. It wasn't from the CAbi fashion show I attended, although that did inspire me to never eat again because I am, apparently, a heifer.

What inspired me was my six-year-old niece. And, surprisingly, this outfit was not one of her endless dresses or cute tops (yeah, she's six and she dresses better than most adults--including me).

The outfit that I loved the most while on the first leg of my summer break was this:

If only summer (and youth) could last forever.

Happy Friday!
